A romantic goth is quiet and misterious and always looking for beauty in darkness. They have passion for poetry, drama and books. They love dead roses and moonlight, graveyards and bones. They are generally calm people who think a lot and are daydreamers.
Music Preference
Anything that is on the softer more melodical side. Very popular is classical music.

Clothes and Accessories
Romantic goths look up to Victorian era fashion. Along with black they often wear deep dark purple, red, blue and green. Clothes are flowy, elegant, often made of velvet and lace.
Guys usually wear long sleeved shirts with collars and long coats also with a high collar and they just generally stick to the color pattern.
Girls mainly wear long dresses and skirts in Victorian style. Sometimes shorter skirts can also be worn but long skirts are the most typical. They finish off the look with long dark flowing hair and with different accessories like long gloves, lacy chokers, long silver necklaces and different bracelets.Big fancy rings can be used by male or female goths too as long as they don't use too many of them.
Makeup
Romantic goth guys can wear eyeliner or nothing at all while girls can also just wear a little bit of eyeliner or they can go for any other soft look. Some artistic patterns can be added around the eye with an eyeliner or they can go for a smokey eye look, preferably in natural colors like pink and bronze or in a bit stronger colors like red, purple and of course black. They try to have their skin as pale as possible like most of goths but unlike most other types they tend to add some blush on their cheeks.
